The game has various tie ins with Half Life such as a part Gearbox has really done a good job on this game. You play as US Marine Adrian Shepard, a member of the HECU unit, the very unit attempting yo kill Gordon freeman in Half Life. While not as good as Half Life, this expansion pack gives some people what they've always wanted, to play as someone else during the events of Half Life. Gearbox has really done a good job on this game. It's a ten dollars worth spending on a game such as this one. Overall, this game is a splendid masterpiece and I would recommend anyone buying. Don't think that Opposing Force lacks a cooperative mode, because one Coop server is currently running with a maximum slot of 32 players per match. With servers still running eleven years later, this game is fantastic. The excessive amount of explosions going on around you is an exciting add-on to this game. Moving on the the multi player, it is insanely fun. Instead of being the protagonist Gordon Freeman, you now take place as an antagonist known as Adrian Shepard. The story is fantastic, showing a different perspective. I remember sitting,waiting for this game to be released at a young age after beating the first Half-Life. With strikingly superior graphics for this games time and innovative story telling, this game honestly deserves a ten. Gearbox has literally outdone them self on this masterpiece of a game.
